Hospital Supervisor®
When the patient calls...
HOSPITAL SUPERVISOR reduces response time and improves communications between NURSES, HEADS OF WARD AND DOCTORS.
- Satisfied patients: no disturbance on the ward
- Peace and quiet: signalling only to where a nurse is present
- Call signal: a simple "beep"
- Unworried matrons: ward matrons can spend a peaceful night, a flashing light signals a patient call
When a patient the ward or room and bed number is identified and displayed on a central computer, in the ward and on the room display (in addition to the conventional flashing light). If more than one call is received the system applies a priority on the basis of serious illnesses.
The nurse places the chip card in the reader in the room in order to receive calls.
Late response or failure to respond is reported on the call history. This improves response time and reassures patients.
The chip card also controls accesses preventing unauthorized access.
