Room management: description of the panels
ROOM ACCESS READER (RA):provides access to the room, using a chip card, to the guest or hotel personnel. It informs reception of who is in the room, do not disturb notices and guest calls (where authorized).
It includes:
. door opening mechanism.
INTERNAL ROOM READER (RI): it recognises the guest or hotel personnel in the room, locates the occupant and activates services. By pressing "room ready" the housemaid alerts the PC that the room may be rented out to another guest.
It has 2 inputs for:
. bathroom alarm
. window alarm
8-STEP POWER UNIT: interface of inputs/outputs configured for a maximum of 8 steps for each Power unit. It is used to activate the following services:
. activation of electricity
. power on or off and fault alarm
. 1 fan coil speed
. 2 fan coil speed
. 3 fan coil speed
. Activation of courtesy lights
TS 1 PANEL: panel for temperature management with interface to:
1. an LCD display of parameters (room temperature, set temperature, fan coil speed)
2. Three leds for fan coil activity (1-yellow) and modification of parameters for temperature and fan speed (2/3 green; 2=set T°; 3=set speed)
3. Three keys to modify the set parameters from reception, as follows: hold down "s" to increase the set temperature by 0.5°C; hold down "t" to lower the temperature by 0.5°C; hold down > (fan) to vary the speed of the fan sequentially (off, 1, 2, 3). When the key is released, the new setting is displayed for 3 seconds before returning to the room temperature.
Press "s" and "t" together to change from the display of the room temperature to display of the set temperature.
